ok. so my computer keeps like rejecting things... i tried to load photoshop on my last computer and the process would start and the banner for it beginning but it would never load up... so i thought maybe it takes awhile cus i was never really patient but then i got a new computer and installed battlefield 2 and i click the button to play and the banner pops up for the game then the screen turns black for a moment and then it never loads... HELP PLEASE???

Try completely uninstalling it, then install it again. Try running BF2 before you patch it, if it works fine, then patch it. If not I'll have to take a look at it for ya.

EDIT: Make sure you have the 1.41 patch installed first, especially if your using Vista. I think you need it to run BF2 on Vista.

PLZ you don't need the patch, she was able to play it before i patched it.

I already attempted the patch with no avail... I think reinstalling it will fix it.


I saw this issue on another game and I think thats what I did.

Check out the minimum and recommended system requirement for battlefield 2. May be possible to solve your problem through configuration. Because some time create issues older system game playing or installation time.

Ya we went through that, and it turns out her processor is .1 GHz too slow.
