I softmodded my ps2 but I still can't play any burned games on it. Can anyone help?

I did it twice already and I did it on another ps2. I'm using the tape and tissue paper thing on my slim ps2. I even tried the swapping disks about 10 times and still nothing. I can't hard mod it so I don't know what else to do.

im having the same problem..i have a phat ps2 and i did the soft mod..but it still doesnt play any burned game and can any1 help where to find the sega emul
